About the Typhoid Profile
The typhoid profile uses the Widal test, Typhidot IgM/IgG, a blood count and CRP to support the diagnosis of enteric (typhoid) fever. Typhoid is caused by Salmonella Typhi and spreads through contaminated food and water; it is common in India.
