About the Kidney Profile Advanced
The Kidney Profile Advanced extends the standard KFT with eGFR, phosphorus, bicarbonate and urine tests to give a fuller picture of kidney health. It is useful for people with diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic kidney disease or recurrent stones, where early changes matter.

Understanding your results
eGFR estimates how many millilitres of blood your kidneys filter each minute; a lower value indicates reduced function. Phosphorus and bicarbonate show the mineral and acid balance, which can shift in kidney disease. Protein or blood in urine suggests kidney or urinary tract irritation.
