About the Women’s Health Checkup
The women’s health checkup is a basic wellness panel designed around common issues in women: anaemia, thyroid problems, vitamin D and B12 deficiency, low ferritin and blood sugar. It helps find causes of tiredness, hair fall and mood changes early.
Symptoms and situations where this test helps
- Tiredness, hair fall or mood changes
- Heavy periods or irregular cycles
- Age above 25 and wanting a yearly check
- Planning pregnancy or after delivery
Understanding your results
Low haemoglobin or ferritin often relates to periods and diet. Thyroid problems are more common in women. Low vitamin D and B12 are very common. Your doctor combines the results with your history and may add a PAP smear or breast examination.
What your doctor may advise next
Your doctor may advise supplements, thyroid treatment, a gynaecology consultation or further screening based on age.
